Substantial overages above advertised 3 billion cultures contained but if stored at room temperature product starts to lose potency sooner so best to take within 3 to 5 months of receipt to have near full potency toward the end of consumption. contains cultures of lactobacillus acidophilus. This healthy intestinal flora promotes positive probiotic balance and immune system support. Uses specific fermentation and drying techniques to ensure that each batch has the hardiest strains oflactobacillus acidophilus. (Note: For comparison purposes, this formula uses only one form of probiotic while above acidophilus beads use a balanced 4 forms of probiotics. (One suggestion is to use a mix of both formulas or alternate.) Take 1 tablet 1 to 3 times daily, preferably with a meal.
